REMETE ISTVÁN

REMETE ISTVÁN was born on the 25th Jun 1956 in the village Orom by the municipality Kanjiza. With picturesque he is sneezing from his childhood. The schools he finished in Kanjiza. He didn’t finished any graphic arts school, he is a self-taught painter.
He tried every technology, but he is painting mostly with oil, acrylic and dry pastel. His thematic is his environment, the river Tisa, the farms and still lifes. He is a realistic painter. Until 1980 he is actively deals with painting and until 1994 he is living only from this. He is the permanent participant of many domestic and strange art colonies. He participates on many collective exhibitions every year, he had 4 self-contained exhibitions. He is the manager of the international winter artist colon “TISZA ART” in Kanjiza. He is the member of the artist group “ART 90” in Senta. His works you can find in European and American private collections.
